Any students interested in education can sign up for our Education Enhancement workshops. It serves as a doorway into everything educational and attempts to provide people useful skills associated with a career in teaching. All members are invited to participate in the Education
Key aspects of our education enhancement workshops:
- Content Focus: Focused content areas should be directed towards carrying out professional development workshops in order to enhance subject matter knowledge and teaching effectiveness¹.
- Active Learning: The use of active participation is effective for stimulating the participants to be more receptive to the materials presented to them¹.
- Collaboration: Collaboration fosters one idea of sharing best practice and growing from each others’ mistakes and ideas.
- Modeling Effective Practices: Modeling and examples of teaching practices is actually effective in what marking methods teachers can use in their classrooms.
- Sustained Duration: A good workshop is therefore not an isolated activity, but part of the continuous professional development process. This makes it possible to implement learning and application in a progressive manner¹.
